Using these Farmacy ingredients [beets, garlic, lemon, olive  oil, black pepper] in the Beet Hummus recipe may help act as a liver detox, anti-fungal, anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant, anti-viral, anti-parasitic, brain booster, candida cleanse, kidney detox and to boost immunities.

  • Beets protect the liver from oxidative damage and inflammation, all while increasing its natural detoxification enzymes. The betaine found in beets encourages your liver to rid the body of toxins. The liver will repair completely after 30 days if no complications arise. Beets naturally help to cleanse the blood. They improve enzymatic activity and stimulate bile flow which breaks down toxic wastes to help excrete them from the body faster.
  • Studies show that olive oil consumption decreases the levels of fat in the liver, increases blood flow and improves liver enzyme levels.
  • Fresh garlic is a potent antibacterial, antiviral, and anti-fungal agent, it has immune boosting effects, and fresh garlic is also a potent antibacterial against MRSA; it also fights yeast infections, viruses and parasites. Adding garlic to the diet may also help stimulate the liver.    Garlic is loaded with sulphur, which activates liver enzymes that help your body flush out toxins. Garlic also holds high amounts of allicin and selenium, two natural compounds that also aid in liver cleansing.
  • Lemon is an antiseptic, antioxidant, antiviral, astringent, bactericidal and tonic. Lemons and limes contain citric acid, potassium, vitamin C and bioflavonoids. These nutrients help improve energy levels, alkalize the body, enhance liver detoxification, and reduce inflammation.
  • Black Pepper is high in antioxidants, has anti-inflammatory properties and may benefit your brain and help nutrient absorption by as much as 2000% with turmeric. The piperine in black pepper can boost the liver’s ability to detoxify your body. Both turmeric and black pepper have key active ingredients that contribute to their antiinflammatory, antioxidant and disease-fighting qualities.
